Where to start?

this is me

My name is Stefani.  I’m in my early thirties (I don’t say the specific number not because I’m vain, but because I’m a tad lazy and/or forgetful, and it’s easier to give a vague age than come back and change my age every November).

I’m married, and I have two kiddos - a boy and a girl.  I also have two doggies - also a boy and a girl.  We have quaint little house near the coast of North Carolina.  But “home” is Orlando, Florida, where hubby and I met and where all our family currently resides.  In the past, I’ve also called Indiana and Tennessee home as well.

I guess I’m your typical domestic goddess - I bake cookies for school functions, drive a minivan, wear yoga pants far too often and know all the words to all the Wiggles’ songs.  In gist, my hubby brings home the bacon and I fry it up in a pan.

In my very limited spare time, I like to take pictures.  Once upon a time, I was award-winning and published.  These days, I prefer to stay home and let my kids be the source of my inspiration.

A few other random things about me:  I’m a coffee addict.  I love a good beer.  Wine is good too.  I’m an organizational freak that spends more time planning my methods of organization than I do actually organizing.  Total type A personality.  I love spreadsheets.  And lists.  And lists of lists.  I’m not an incredibly outgoing person, but once I get to know you a little, you can’t shut me up.  I’m really bad at returning email.  Travel is good.  Date nights alone with hubby are good.  DVR is good.  Glops of grape jelly left on the counter are not good.  Socks left in the middle of the family room floor are also not good.  I’m long winded and really bad about tangents, it’s a real struggle for me to stay on topic.  Very opinionated, but I try to suppress that.  Staunchly liberal, and openly admit to not being able to wrap my brain around most conservative ideas.  Addicted to the internet, hope to one day recover but for now it serves as a nice escape when the kids start working my nerves.  Eat peanut butter sandwiches almost daily.

Want to know something about me?  Have a question?  Email me and maybe I’ll use your question in my Q&As (coming soon)!
